Birmingham City has officially finalized the transfer of Jhon Solís from Girona FC. The club has decided to exercise the purchase option included in the Colombian midfielder's loan contract, which will take effect from July 1. Solís, born in Guacarí, Colombia, in 2004, joined Girona FC in the summer of 2023 from Atlético Nacional, where he quickly established himself as a promising talent. During his time at Girona, he played 61 official matches, including 5 in the UEFA Champions League and 7 in the Copa del Rey. Last January, he was loaned to Birmingham City, where he made 18 appearances.
